2021 SCAPE Annual Conference

Dear SCAPE members, colleagues, friends, and families,

On behalf of the Society of Chinese American Physician Entrepreneurs (SCAPE), we, with great enthusiasm, invite you and family to attend the 7th SCAPE Annual Conference between Oct 15 and 17, 2021 at Stanford University.

Looking back at 2020 that was dominated by COVID-19, we all have been through ups and down, sadness and happiness, Disappointment and hope. We feel frustrated by not being able to save more lives, but also encouraged by new technology. With the COVID-19 vaccination, we now have seen the light at the end of the tunnel. The SCAPE is eager to see all of its members, its collaborators and supporters get together again and celebrate the year 2021.

Each year, many specialists, experts, leaders, administrators and entrepreneurs all over the world attended the SCAPE annual conferences. The aim of SCAPE annual conference is to provide a platform for SCAPE physician members and people from all walks of life to exchange ideas, share experiences and seek collaboration. During the SCAPE 2020 annual conference, we started collaboration with Chinese physician organizations in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom. This year, we will continuously outreach our global community, broadcast the key components of our annual meeting, and establish some satellite sites to prepare for unexpected situations during this uncertain period.

This year, our annual Conference will be focusing on WELLBEING!

• Physical wellbeing

• Mental wellbeing

• Social wellbeing

• Work wellbeing

• Family wellbeing

We will share our experiences of and discuss coping strategies to handle stresses from social, family, financial, workload aspects in the current pandemic:

• SCAPE NEXT Generation Program

• Mental health issues and their handling at the initial and current stages

• Nutritional therapy for healing

• Exercising for mental and physical health

• Social gathering remotely

• Travel and prevention of COVID-19

• Sleep and resting well

• Other topics you may be interested
  

Our conference will be held on the campus of Stanford University. The headquarters hotel is to be determined. Hotels with detailed information will be provided as soon as available.
