In May 2025, the Xiamen Poly Spring Auction hosted a unique artistic feast—the inaugural "Art Week" event. As one of China's largest auction platforms, Xiamen Poly innovatively integrated an art fair format into the auction this time, not only expanding the commercial art atmosphere but also deeply incorporating cross-strait artistic elements for the first time, setting an exemplary model for the fusion of art and commerce. Artist Statement:

From the Urban Phantoms series, this work constructs dual metaphors of contemporary metropolises through fluid, layered ink washes. Delicate tree branches emerge defiantly between monolithic structures, initiating a silent poetic dialogue with the urban environment.

The oppressive weight of concrete jungles and the resilient whispers of nature engage in a visual struggle within the textured ink surfaces—where every brushstroke becomes a microcosm of civilization’s paradox.

The Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan Artists Association is a social organization jointly formed by artists from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. It was founded by Mr. Cai Haojie in Hong Kong and has branches in Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. The chairman of the Taiwan branch is Li Woyuan.
