據(jù)新華社消息，美國(guó)總統(tǒng)特朗普4月2日宣布，帕姆·邦迪將不再擔(dān)任司法部長(zhǎng)一職。邦迪成為特朗普第二個(gè)總統(tǒng)任期內(nèi)第二名被解職的內(nèi)閣成員。

特朗普當(dāng)天在社交媒體發(fā)帖說，邦迪將轉(zhuǎn)任私營(yíng)部門工作，具體日期將在近期公布，司法部副部長(zhǎng)托德·布蘭奇將代理司法部長(zhǎng)一職。

Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell confirmed George's departure Thursday, writing on X, "General Randy A. George will be retiring from his position as the 41st Chief of Staff of the Army effective immediately. The Department of War is grateful for General George's decades of service to our nation."

The Army chief of staff typically serves a four-year term. George was nominated for the position by US former president Joe Biden and confirmed by the Senate in 2023, meaning he would typically have held the position until 2027.
