立夏?知節(jié)氣

立夏，是二十四節(jié)氣中的第七個節(jié)氣，也是夏季的第一個節(jié)氣，交節(jié)時間在每年公歷 5 月 5日前后?！稓v書》載：“斗指東南維，為立夏，萬物至此皆長大，故名立夏也。”立夏后，日照增加，逐漸升溫，雷雨增多。立夏時節(jié)，全國大部分地區(qū)平均氣溫在18-20℃上下。

立夏有三個明顯的物候特征，稱為“立夏三候”：一候螻蟈鳴，田間螻蛄鳴叫，奏響夏日序曲；二候蚯蚓出，地氣漸暖，蚯蚓破土松土；三候王瓜生，王瓜藤蔓快速攀爬生長。

為傳承中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化，青島嶗山新世紀學校開展了豐富多彩的立夏主題活動，讓孩子們在實踐中感受節(jié)氣魅力。

The beginning of Summer is the 7th of the 24 solar terms. It is also the first solar term of summer. It usually comes around May 5th each year. The “Almanac” records that when the Big Dipper points to the southeast, it marks the beginning of Summer. All things begin to thrive and grow, therefore the name is the beginning of Summer. After the beginning of Summer, everything grows faster. The sun shines brighter and the days get longer. The temperature rises and thunderstorms become more frequent. During this period, the average temperature remains 18 to 20 degrees in most parts of China .

The Beginning of Summer has three distinct phenological features, which known as the "Three Holes of the Beginning of Summer". The first one is that when the cricket start chirping in the fields, summer comes. The second one is that when earthworms emerge from the ground, it becomes warmer. The third one is that the melon vines grow rapidly.

In order to inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture, Qingdao Laoshan New Century School carried out a variety of activities with the theme of Beginning of Summer, allowing children to feel the charm of solar terms in practice.

巧手繪夏，筆間生趣

同學們以畫筆為媒，繪制立夏手抄報和創(chuàng)意畫作。一幅幅作品中，有螻蟈鳴唱、王瓜攀藤的自然景致，也有斗蛋、稱娃的民俗場景，盡顯初夏生機。

The students used paintbrushes as media to draw handwritten newspapers and creative paintings for the Beginning of Summer. In each of the works, there are natural scenes of singing crickets and climbing vines, as well as folk scenes of fighting eggs and weighing people,that show the vitality of early summer.

斗蛋秤娃，樂享民俗

“立夏胸掛蛋，孩子不疰夏”。同學們精心彩繪彩蛋，開展了斗蛋大賽。也有家庭稱重納福，為孩子祈愿安康。同學們在鮮活的民俗體驗中，感受傳統(tǒng)習俗的樂趣。

Parents will put boiled eggs in little bags and hang them on their children's chests. They believe this can bring good health and keep away bad luck. And there is a fun game is egg fighting. Kids painted eggs knocked their eggs against each other，and the one whose egg doesn't break wins. There is also the tradition of "weighing people". Adults believe that weighing on this day can bring good fortune and prevent weight loss in the hot summer. Children experience the fun of traditional customs in joy.

舌尖立夏，品味傳承

同學們與家人一同制作立夏涼面、茶葉蛋等傳統(tǒng)美食。在勞動中了解 “立夏見三新” 的習俗，感受美食里的文化溫度。

Students and their families made traditional delicacies food. Such as cold noodles and tea eggs. The children experienced traditional customs and felt the cultural warmth from working.

立夏?話成長

立夏是萬物繁茂的時節(jié)，也是少年成長的黃金期。愿嶗山新世紀的學子們，如夏日草木般向陽生長，不負時光，不負韶華，在這個充滿活力的季節(jié)，綻放最美的自己！

Beginning of summer is a time when all things flourish, and it is also a golden period for young people to grow. We hope that the students of Laoshan New Century will achieve better results in this dynamic season!
