崗位設(shè)置

PI崗位包括資深研究員（Senior PI, full professor level）、長聘研究員（PI, tenured associate professor level）、特聘研究員（Junior PI, assistant professor level）。

PI的職責(zé)包括獨(dú)立領(lǐng)導(dǎo)課題組開展創(chuàng)新性科學(xué)研究工作、申請各項(xiàng)科學(xué)研究項(xiàng)目和基金、從事教學(xué)指導(dǎo)工作等。Senior PI還將對Junior PI負(fù)有指導(dǎo)職責(zé)。

資深研究員（Senior PI, Tenured Full Professor Level）基本條件為：

1）原則上曾擔(dān)任海內(nèi)外知名高校或科研機(jī)構(gòu)的長聘正教授或相當(dāng)職位；

2）取得系統(tǒng)性、創(chuàng)造性學(xué)術(shù)成就，做出重要學(xué)術(shù)貢獻(xiàn)，享有較高的國際知名度和影響力，能夠引領(lǐng)學(xué)科領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展或趕超國際先進(jìn)水平；

3）具有豐富教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)、培養(yǎng)青年科研人員經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

長聘研究員（Tenured PI, Tenured Associate Professor Level）基本條件為：

1）原則上曾擔(dān)任海內(nèi)外知名高校或科研機(jī)構(gòu)的長聘副教授或相當(dāng)職位；

2）創(chuàng)新研究能力在學(xué)科領(lǐng)域內(nèi)處于領(lǐng)先地位，具有成為學(xué)科領(lǐng)域領(lǐng)軍人物的潛力，有一定的國際知名度；

3）具有豐富教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

特聘研究員（Junior PI, Tenure-track Assistant Professor Level）基本條件為：

1）具有博士學(xué)位和博士后研究經(jīng)歷；

2）學(xué)術(shù)水平達(dá)到海外內(nèi)知名高校/科研機(jī)構(gòu)助理教授或相當(dāng)崗位的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)；

3）創(chuàng)新研究能力得到學(xué)科領(lǐng)域內(nèi)專家的認(rèn)可，有獨(dú)立發(fā)展的能力和獲得長聘崗位的潛力。

支持條件

（1）薪酬待遇：提供具有國際競爭力的薪酬待遇。

（2）啟動經(jīng)費(fèi)：根據(jù)科研實(shí)際需要，提供充足的啟動經(jīng)費(fèi)。

（3）科研條件：提供獨(dú)立的辦公空間、先進(jìn)的實(shí)驗(yàn)空間和尖端的公共技術(shù)平臺（Core Facility）。

（4）事業(yè)發(fā)展：實(shí)行課題組長（PI）負(fù)責(zé)制；擁有完善的晉升通道；定期給予發(fā)展評估與指導(dǎo)；且提供人才集聚、學(xué)科交叉、前沿探索、開放協(xié)作的學(xué)術(shù)環(huán)境。

（5）團(tuán)隊(duì)組建：設(shè)有專項(xiàng)博士生培養(yǎng)項(xiàng)目和優(yōu)秀博士后資助項(xiàng)目，支持自主組建包括博士研究生、博士后及專職研究人員在內(nèi)的學(xué)術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)。

（6）科研無憂：提供三大專業(yè)支撐——行政助理保障課題組日常高效運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)；專項(xiàng)團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)助申報(bào)各級各類科研項(xiàng)目和獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)；專業(yè)團(tuán)隊(duì)和自有孵化平臺，助力科研成果轉(zhuǎn)移轉(zhuǎn)化。

（7）住房保障：提供搬遷費(fèi)、租房補(bǔ)貼，可申請人才周轉(zhuǎn)房。

Open PI Positions at SZBL

Shenzhen Bay Laboratory (SZBL) hereby announces an open and ongoing call for applications for full-time, independent Principal Investigator (PI) positions from distinguished researchers engaged in frontier biomedical science. Key disciplinary priorities include but are not limited to:Translational Cancer Research and Tumor Immunotherapy, Neurological Disorders, Infectious Diseases, Molecular Biology and Physiology, AI and Computational Biology, and Chemical Biology.

Positions and Qualifications

We seek applicants with a national or international reputation for high-quality independent research, evidenced by original and influential intellectual contributions. The ideal candidate will actively engage in teaching and supervising students, postdoctoral fellow, and research staff. PIs are expected to lead an extramurally funded research program that complements and synergizes with SZBL’s strategic scope, backed by generous start-up support. Senior PIs will additionally mentor junior faculty.

The following PI positions are available at SZBL:

1.Senior PI (Tenured Full Professor Level)

? Hold, or have held, a tenured full professor appointment (or an equivalent senior research position) at a recognized university or research institution, either domestically or internationally.

? Demonstrate a record of systematic and innovative academic achievements with significant contributions to the field.

? Possess a strong international reputation and scholarly influence.

? Have a proven track record of excellence in teaching at the graduate level and in effectively mentoring early-career researchers.

2.Tenured PI (Tenured Associate Professor Level)

? Hold, or have held, a tenured associate professor appointment (or an equivalent research position) at a recognized university or research institution, either domestically or internationally.

? Demonstrate innovative research capability and show potential to become future leader in the field.

? Possess experience in teaching and mentoring.

3.Junior PI (Tenure-track Assistant Professor Level)

? Hold a doctoral degree and have completed postdoctoral research training.

? Demonstrate academic qualifications that meet the standard for an assistant professor position (or an equivalent independent research role) at a recognized university or research institution, either domestically or internationally.

? Possess innovative research capability, with clear evidence of potential to establish an independent research program.

Supporting Conditions

Qualified candidates will receive an internationally competitive salary, ample start-up funds, excellent office and modern lab. State-of-the-art core facilities, translational platforms, and interdisciplinary academic environment are also available at SZBL. Assistance will be provided in applying for various scientific projects, funding and awards. Other benefits include insurance and housing fund, supplementary medical insurance, annual physical examination, paid annual leave, and childrens education.
